How to add, delete and edit tag groups

🏷 How to Create Tags

Tags help categorize your events and objects, making them easier to search, filter, and explore on your hub.

Here’s how to create and manage them:


🧭 Step One – Log In

Log in with your admin account or another account with permission to manage tags.


⚙️ Step Two – Open Settings

Click the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner.
Select Community Hub Settings from the dropdown.


🗂 Step Three – Go to the “Main” Tab

In the settings panel, open the Main tab.
Scroll to the Tags section, where you can create:

  • Group Tags – parent categories that contain multiple related tags (e.g. “Age Group”)

  • Individual Tags – keywords that belong to a group (e.g. “Kids,” “Teens,” “Adults”)


➕ Step Four – Add Tags

  1. Click “+ Add Group Tag”

  2. Type a title for the group (e.g. “Event Type,” “Age Group”)

  3. Click “+ Add Tag” to add one or more tags under that group

    ℹ️ Individual tags do not require their own titles — just type the tag text inside the tag field

  4. Repeat as needed to build out your tag structure

  5. Click Save when you're done


✏️ Step Five – Edit or Delete Existing Tags

Use the edit or delete icons next to any tag or group to make changes later.


Once saved, your tags will be available for selection when creating or editing events and objects.
