1. Understand Hub Registration Options
When clicking register for an event, users will be prompted to sign up for your hub.
2. Open Registration Form Editor
To customize the questions you ask, click the settings icon and choose registration form editor.
3. Identify Mandatory Fields
Any field that has an asterisk is a mandatory field. To enable that setting, click the edit pencil button.
4. Edit Registration Field
Toggle the mandatory option and customize questions as you see fit.
5. Add Field Caption
Add a caption to provide additional context or instructions for the registration field.
6. Set Default Field Value
If you would like, you can place a default value or make a question for admin users only.
7. Tag the Question
Type is an internal tag to categorize questions. Leave it on general or choose an option.
8. Review Added Questions
Here is an example multiple choice question. Let's edit it by clicking the pencil icon.
9. Customize the Options
Choose the 'Add' option to create new choices for the resident.
10. Or Upload a CSV
Upload an existing list or download what you've created as a CSV file.
11. Add Fields for More Questions
You can add an additional questions from the add field button at the top of the list.
12. Choose a Question Type
Select the question type that is right for the job. Note Community questions are asked once, and Event questions will be asked on every event, every time a user registers.
13. Enable Field Visibility
By default the question will be off. Click the eyeball to turn it on.
14. Customize Field Settings
Choose the pencil edit icon to customize the field's question, instructions, and other properties.
15. Save Question Changes
Don't forget to save.
16. Preview Final Registration Form
Click Display to see the preview of your customized registration form.
17. Review User Registration Experience
Here you'll see what a first time user would experience when purchasing tickets or registering for an event. If a user is missing details, they will be prompted to answer only the missing question.
You have successfully customized your hub registration form by adding and editing fields, setting mandatory options, and previewing the user experience.
