♻️ How to Duplicate an Expired Event

Want to bring back a past event without starting from scratch? You can easily duplicate an expired event, update its details, and publish it again.

Here’s how:

🧭 Step One – Log In

Make sure you’re logged in with your admin account on both:

  • The PRM (management dashboard)

  • The hub view where the event is displayed

You’ll need admin access in both places to view and duplicate the event.

🔍 Step Two – Find the Expired Event

Click on the “All Events” tab in the PRM.

Use one or more of the following filters to locate the event:

  • Search by event name

  • Filter by event leader

  • Set status to “Expired”

  • Filter by date

👁 Step Three – Open the Event

Click the eye icon next to the event to open its page in the hub.

🔐 Reminder: If you're not logged in to the hub with an admin account, you won’t be able to view or duplicate the expired event.

📄 Step Four – Duplicate the Event

Click the duplicate button to create a new version of the expired event.

This keeps the original event’s data intact while giving you a fresh copy to edit.

📝 Step Five – Edit the Event

Update key details such as:

  • New title

  • New date and time

  • Any other event details

💾 Step Six – Save and Publish

Click Save and Publish.
The new event will now appear on your community calendar.
